The Edinburgh Fringe 2005 Show #019

The Edinburgh Fringe 2005 Show #019 (MP3 – 6.7MB – 22min 35 sec)
LISTEN HERE

This is it, the last “during the Fringe” podcast from 2005. Enjoy it, because when it’s gone it’s gone. Although I will admit to having a tear in my eye when I finished the FTP on this file, I’mnot quite sure if I’mlooking forward to doing it all again next year - I bet that’s how all the performers feel as well!

David McSavage - I Need £4,800 Pounds
A simple show title for a comedian - that’s how much coming to the Fringe costs me, that’ll be my show. I finally caught up with David on the Royal Mile after he had done a mix of flyering and busking to ask about the show.

Tom Pringe - Dr Bunhead’s Recipes for Disaster
From UK TV’s Brainiac: Science Abuse show comes Tom Pringe (aka Dr Bunhead) with a madcap science show primarily aimed at kids, but suitable for everyone. And there’s some lessons in this interview as well. For example, what happens when you breath Xenon. How can you turn a bottle of coke into a water pistol with a polo mint? And what’s the biggest thing Tom has blown up in the name of “science?”

And as a special treat, there’s the full length version of the Edinburgh Fringe Podcast theme tune to close out the last Festival show of 2005. See you next year?

This has got to be one of the most interesting and informative podcast series recorded. It even inspired me to head up to Edinburgh for the final few days of the Fringe. Big thanks to everyone who made this happen.

Like many people I only found the Fringe podcast half way through. I have been able to collect everything from show 5 onwards. Any chance of making the first 4 eps available again?
