Yes, today’s show is live from the set of Star Wars… a day that I’ve been dreaming of through many an interview. The SF fans are going to enjoy today’s Fringe Podcast, featuring as it foes the two pillars of popular space opera / science fiction.

A glorious tribute to the late 50’s pulp sci-fi serials, with authenticv period costumes, stories with inventive punchlines, and a never changing cast through all the sketches. I talk to director Alan Hubb about the show, and Festival Theater USA.

Cast Ensemble - I Am Star Trek
And then, in the sixties, Star Trek arrived on the scene. A long strugle by gene Roddenberry to get it to the air, keep it on air, return it to the air, while keeping his vision, is the basis of I Am Star Trek, an almost musical (only a few songs) look at his life and the people around him.

And then, in the seventies, Star Wars arrived on the scene. Doing the entire trilogy in half an hour is a great idea for a show, so I talk to the cast while on board their Millenium Falcon (really) about the show, the characters, and the amazing props and sets they have.
