The Edinburgh Fringe 2005 Show #004
The Edinburgh Fringe 2005 Show #004 (MP3 – 6.9MB – 23 min 14 sec)
LISTEN HERE
Halfway through the first week, and I’m still here. That’s good. The weather in Edinburgh (surprisingly) all over the shop in terms of sun, wind and rain. The microphone is picking up the wind noise sometimes (no massive BBC Studio or crazy shielded boom mics here), and as regular listeners will know, there is always a touch of background noise. Hopefully it’s not spoiling your listening, and the content is what you want to hear.
Anton Pick - Cats Like Cheese
Only here for the first week of the Fringe, Anton Pick’s show offers a dead-pan delivery and the secret of morphone rom cheese in his show. In a venue as far away from the main theatres as possible, Anton is challenging audiences with his style and material.
Stephen K Amos - The Hundred Greatest Things Ever…
The first “bloke you might have seen off the telly” interview is Stephen K Amos, who’s been a frequent contributor on many of the “Top 100″ shows that fill up bank holiday TV in the UK. Given that most of the public now know him just from these shows, but never seen his act. His show is subverting the genre very nicely. And he’s offering a £100 prize if people walking up to him in Edinburgh.
