Meet The Crew

In their own words, it’s time to introduce the Fringe Podcast reporting team to the world.

Ben McLardy
Young single male seeks fun and frolics in Edinburgh between 7 �-? 29th August. Enjoys lively company, humorous liaisons and women who appreciate the finer points of ukulele orchestral music.

Donnacadh O'Briain Donnacadh O’Briain
Donnacadh originally trained as an actor and has worked as a theatre director and teacher in Dublin and London. Since leaving Drama School he has directed over twenty productions and has an MA I Classical Acting from the Central School of Speech and Drama. Last year brought Blue Velvet the Gilded Balloon and this year premiers a new play, Hush, by Samantha Wright at the Pleasance Dome.

Laura Laura Oliver
I’m a fourth year English Literature undergraduate at Edinburgh University currently trying to get my foot in journalism’s door. Having worked The Fringe last year for about �2 an hour, I decided that 2005 was going to be the year I was one of the beautiful people sipping Magners in the Spiegeltent rather than slogging my guts out. My interests Fringe-wise are music, verbose comedians and dodgy theatre groups performing Shakespeare. Outside of the Festivals (is there such a place?) I’m a fan of football, travel and a nice gin and tonic.

Tane Tane Piper
I am a 20-something grumpy old man and the presenter of Tripcast Radio. Also a full time computing student and part time phone monkey working for ‘the man’. I enjoy the fringe every year, and thought rather than just lauging and enjoying the shows this year, I’d tell everyone else about them too.

Ewan Ewan Spence
Ewan Spence is the Producer of a number of Podcast Network shows, including the ever-popular TPN Rock, a showcase of unsigned rock bands from around the world. He has actively followed the development of mobile technology and Internet media publishing since studying Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Edinburgh University. He left his role as an IT Support Team Manager in April 2004 to work full time on a number of successful technology websites and start-ups.
