Want to host your own show on TPN?

Welcome to the Edinburgh Fringe Podcast

“It’s just a ride,” as Bill Hicks would have said. And The Podcast Network’s latest show, live from the biggest Arts Festival on the planet, is going to be such a ride, for you (the listener), me (the Producer) and the cracking team of reporters we’ve put together.

Once the Fringe gets into full swing on August 8th, the Fringe Podcast is going to switch to a daily show. As it’s previews week in Edinburgh, all the performers are doing the occasional show, kicking the tyres, checking everything works, and gettting people’s attention. Which is exactly what our preview show (coming up shortly) will be.

What’s Going To Be In The Show?
So what do you want from a show about The Fringe - how about the people performing. Lined up already are a multitude of world class acts and new blood. They’ll be taking about their show, how they’re finding Edinburgh, why you should go and see them and not Moonjourney, theexperimental seventies band and unnatural phenomenon ‘Triangle’ excavating their legendary rock opus flop. Unless you are Moonjourney, who we’ll speak to during August.

We’ll keep you up to speed with what’s happening at the Fringe, who’s hot, who’s not, and anything we find out, along with (potentially) the greatest prize at the Fringe, the TPN Fringe Flyer. More on that later.

What’s Going To Be On The Website?
As well as the daily 30 minute show, we’re going to be reviewing as many Fringe shows as possible here on the website. Ben, Laura, Andrew, Donnacadh, Tane, Paddy, Elliot and Paul are going to be scouring the theatres, clubs and bars looking for the weird, the strange, the freaks, and the fun of the Fringe.

Don’t forget our Moblog, a stream of pictures from around Edinburgh. The latest picture is always at the top of the sidebar. Click on that and you’ll be taken to the archive, where you can view all the pictures, the full size snaps, and leave your comments.

What You Need To Remember
We’re daily from next Monday, and the shows will go live generally from 11am UK time.
